Joseph Corbett to join newly created Global Advisory Board
Cura announced today the creation of a Global Advisory Board to assist it in thought leadership, the monitoring and capitalising on industry trends, and business development in new territories. The Global Advisory Board will draw on the knowledge of leaders in their respective fields from around the world.
Cura is particularly proud to announce the appointment of Joseph Corbett to the Global Advisory Board with immediate effect. Joe is a CPA, with over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and auditing, including experience as Chief Financial Officer, Financial Controller and Internal Audit Leader. Prior to these holding these management roles at SEC registrant companies, Joe worked for KPMG for over 10 years, where he worked on financial and internal control audits.
From 1995-2004, Joe served as CFO and Controller of Intelsat, Ltd a multi-billion dollar SEC Registrant, where he was responsible for all financial activities including chairing the Company’s Sarbanes Oxley Steering Committee. Prior to serving Intelsat, Joe headed Internal audit, for NVR, Inc., a large public company that had revenues in excess of $1 billion. Most recently Joe was EVP and CFO of Bearing Point a NYSE-listed system integration and consulting firm with revenues over $3 billion. He had ultimate responsibility for risk and Sarbanes-Oxley and immediately after joining, he identified and disclosed multiple internal control weaknesses and established a framework for improvements.
