Our client is a privately owned integrated property development and investment group with a diverse portfolio of properties along Australia’s eastern seaboard and in New Zealand. The Group also operates construction and hospitality divisions.
Based in Sydney and reporting to the Corporate Services Director, your focus will be the continued development and enhancement of the Operational Risk Management Framework, with the opportunity to design and implement leading best practice risk management and OHS methodologies across the Group. Influencing the implementation of policy and best practice procedures across a broad range of commercial interests will also be key to your success.
The successful candidate will be working with all levels of staff, up to and including Executive Management. Key responsibilities include the management and development of the Group’s OHSMS and administration of the external compliance audit function. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring insurance claims and reporting on the Group’s risk performance.
Ideally you will be degree qualified in a relevant field with significant experience in Risk Management and OHS, including supervisory experience. A background in the Construction and/or Property industries would be an advantage.
